Q. When I purchase LeatherLyke products is the mounting hardware included?
A. Yes, when you purchase our Saddlebags and/or Cruiser Cases all of the hardware you need will be included. However, some motorcycles require an additional kit if a backrest is being used. See your model for details. This additional kit is sold separately.
Q. Does my motorcycle require a turn signal relocation kit?
A. Some models do require this kit. If it does, the kit will be included with the installation hardware.
Q. How can I tell if my motorcycle requires a turn signal relocation kit?
A. Generally, if the turn signals on your motorcycle are located on the fender strut they will need to be relocated to the license plate bracket.
Q. Do you have a kit to make my saddlebags compatible with a different Make and/or Model motorcycle?
A. No, each of our saddlebags models are made to fit a specific make and model motorcycle. Only the Cruiser Case bags are universal.
Q. Where are my keys?
A. The keys are taped to the outside of the hardware kit.
Q. I lost my keys, can I order a new set?
A. Yes, you can order a new set of keys. We will need the key number which is stamped on the key; this number is also located on the description label located on the side of the original shipping box. If you do not have either the keys or the original shipping box you will need to order new locks.
Q. When I purchased my bags from LeatherLyke.com I was charged $85 dollars or more for shipping. Why so much?
A. The shipping amount was left on the Alaska/Hawaii rate during the checkout process. This amount will be automatically corrected when your order is invoiced.

Q. I purchased my LeatherLyke products from an online auction site; are my bags still under warranty?
A. No, our products are only protected by a warranty if they were purchased directly from LeatherLyke LeatherLyke.com or from an authorized dealership. Product warranty only applies to the original purchaser. Warranties are not transferable.
Q. If I purchased my LeatherLyke products from my local dealer, do I have to return them to that particular dealer?
A. Yes, If you need to return your LeatherLyke products for any reason, including warranty issues; please return it to the dealer from which it was purchased. |
